Why We Built Code 3

I spent almost 20 years in the fire service before I ever filed a disability claim. Like a lot of Veterans who are also first responders, I was too focused on the job and life to deal with the VA system.

I had been living with conditions that went undiagnosed and untreated for years, made worse by the work and trauma we see in the fire service. These are the same kinds of things all public safety workers push through. Just like our time in the military, we keep going until we cannot.

I ended up paying ten thousand dollars to a big name claims company that submitted my claim without any real evidence. They sent me short, confusing videos for my exams, and the follow-up was just a call center overseas asking for payment. If they had gotten me to one hundred percent, I would have owed them twenty thousand dollars.

Luckily, my best friend Gage had just started his company, Vet Claim Ops. He coached me through the right way to build a fully developed claim. I got rated at one hundred percent. That changed everything.

The financial compensation gave me room to breathe. I no longer had to chase overtime just to keep up. I could finally focus on treatment and my family, and that made the biggest difference.

Gage mentored me and helped me learn and understand the complexities and nuance of the VA system. Any with this knowledge, I wanted to give that same relief to other Veterans, especially those in public safety, and Code 3 was born.

There are too many Veterans being overcharged or left in the dark by companies that take a cut of their back pay or lock them into large multipliers. Code 3 does it differently. Our flat fee coaching is straightforward and built around service, not pressure. We take care of our Veterans and first responders because we are them.

We give you the plan. You stay in control. And we help you do it right.

How We Coach Veterans
to Win Their Claims

Our Coaching

Our coaching starts with a real plan. We do not guess or hope for the best. We help you build a strategy designed to earn the highest rating you qualify for, based on your symptoms, medical history, and service connection.

We stay with you throughout the process. You will get weekly check-ins, honest feedback, and updates that keep your claim on track. We pay attention to what the VA is approving, what patterns are working, and how to build a claim that lines up with what they are actually awarding.

This is not just support. It is a strategy. And it is built with the most current knowledge of how the system works and how to win.

The Process

Understanding the VA system is just as important as building the claim itself. We take the time to explain how the rating process works, what symptoms matter most, and how to speak clearly about what you are experiencing.

We help you prepare for every step, especially your medical appointments and Compensation and Pension exams. You will know what the doctor is evaluating, what questions to expect, and how to describe your symptoms without downplaying what you are dealing with.

Our process is designed to remove confusion and give you control. We coach you through building a fully developed claim, the kind the VA is required to fully consider.

The Execution

Everything we do leads to this point. After the strategy is built, the evidence is gathered, and the preparation is complete, we help you submit a claim that is sharp, precise, and built to win.

This is not just a checklist. It is deliberate, tactical work, matching symptoms to ratings, layering medical records with personal statements, and anticipating what the VA needs to see before they ask.

We do not hit submit until every angle is covered and every piece is in place. The goal is to give the VA no choice but to award you the rating you deserve.

This is how we fight. With precision, with planning, and with zero room for guesswork.

VICTORY!

At Code 3 Vet Claims, victory only comes when we have the VA see the full picture, and have a rating that finally reflects the reality.

We fight until the numbers match the story, and the benefits reflect the burden you’ve carried.

Victory is not just an approval letter, it’s the moment a Veteran finally feels seen, validated, and whole.

Every Veteran's path is different, but no one should walk it alone.

Let’s talk through your claim and put a strategy in place that works for you.
